LOL... then or now, I love knowing that people read and enjoyed my stories.
I don't know if I can go back or not. Maybe one day I'll have a Xena marathon and get back into the series... if so I may be able to finish the fourth story. The 'finale' did NOT happen in my 'verse... but still, it took the enthusiasm I had for the fandom enough to not want to finish. I hated the ending of the series because Gabrielle was alone. They should have both lived or both died, but they should have been TOGETHER at the end. IMHO they totally screwed up the last season as it was... When they died and went to heaven they had the perfect opportunity to do a random 'uber' type season with a new 'uber' character for Xena and Gabrielle every week. It would have been the fans dream season... but they did what they did and that is it.
Yes, I agree... all fanfiction is in fact AU, some more than others. I guess I just was so absorbed in Xena for so long that the 'finale' was the final burn out...
Anyhoo... I'm very glad you enjoyed the three I posted, and are continuing to enjoy my work in the DWP fandom. :)
