Nigel is fun to write, but since I don't have Miranda at the office very much, it's not easy to actually work him in. I tend to focus on the Mirandy relationship and secondary characters often fall by the wayside for that.
The twins, having grown up as Miranda's daughters, are quite a bit more mature than regular children their age. They are still kids though and have similar insecurities but they are more worldly than many people give them credit for. Children are often underestimated and doing so with Miranda's girls is often a serious mistake. Many an assistant have learned that lesson the hard way. :)
