You know who you are... ;)

What do you think about a TV show based on that premise:  Two women, friends, traveling through time.  I think it would make a great series, different situations every week, different time periods.  Then again I love time travel shows... Quantum Leap was one of my favorites, which is why I gave the gals in my story a bit of the 'lost' thing that Dr. Beckett had on QH... Not sure it would be like that in the actual Hourglass show, their method of travel was more mystical than technical, so they might actually have a little more control over the process... then again, maybe they'd have less.. ;)

Please though... Let me know what you think about the possibility of a show like this.  Really... inquiring minds want to know.  :)

I want this show!

I really do. I also loved Quantum Leap when I was growing up. I also always enjoyed fiction with time travel and the idea of seeing characters you recognize as contemporary to you in a totally foreign environment. What could possibly be more foreign than being out of your own time? I think with the popularity of such shows as Doctor Who and Torchwood and Eureka and Warehouse 13 and so on and so forth that this show would have a great chance of finding and keeping a loyal audience. Plus, you know, hot women certainly can't hurt.

LOL... I agree. I think it would do well with today's sci-fi audience.

Thanks for the comment! :)

Will have to read your Hourglass series. Definitely. :) As regards time travel shows, yes, Quantum Leap was great. Even before that - as a kiddo I really liked "Voyagers!" even if the title characters were both male. Involved some control over where they went (when the time piece worked correctly (probably a precursor/origin for JK Rowling's concept for the 'time turner' in the Harry Potter world). A great way to learn some history and see different time periods, etc, etc. Right then. Enough prattling from me. Shutting up....

LOL... yes... you need to read my story!! ;) :P

I loved all those shows... Quantum Leap was awesome and actually one of the reasons I never watched Enterprise. Because Scott Bakula is Dr. Sam Beckett, NOT the captain of the Enterprise. LOL

Voyagers! was a great show too... Thinking back it seems a little creepy for the older guy to be traveling with the young boy... but I did like the series. The one I liked best was when they met with a watch maker who TOOK THE POCKET WATCH APART! LOL... they walked in and there were pieces scattered all over the table... LOL.. they freaked out, but when they reached out to pick up a piece the watchmaker stopped them immediately... saying "If you want it to go back together... DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING!" LOL... and when it was put back together it worked better than before... because it had been malfunctioning before that and they didn't know exactly where they were going to end up.

I think the idea of two female's (*coughfriendscough*) traveling through time is an awesome Idea... I thought so when I heard it 9 years ago.. and I think so now. :)

and um... let me know what you think of the story when you read it... it's written as if the series had been produced and had aired for at least half a season. That was the only way I could do it at the time... I am a fanfic writer after all. :) LOL
